E.L. James wrapped up her U.S. Book Signing Tour with a stop at Barnes & Noble at The Grove, in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, September 28 and we were there!

Our day started bright and early at 4:00 a.m. with 800 other fans, waiting in line for a wristband. The lines were long, snaking around several stores and traveling across several blocks.

We had been waiting in line for a couple of hours, chatting with a fun group of fellow fans about their favorite choices to play Christian, Ana, Jack and Mrs. Robinson when we received this tweet from E.L. James.

Needless to say, it was an exciting reminder of why we were all there, sharing in the opportunity to forge these new friendships and becoming a part of this growing Fifty Shades of Grey Community.

When we returned later in the evening to meet E.L. James and have our book signed, it was fun to see so many fans sharing their passion by wearing adorable Fifty Shades of Grey t-shirts, jewelry and handmade buttons. Hundreds of fans that weren’t able to secure one of the 800 wristbands, waited in a standby line outside, holding hope for a chance to get an autograph from the best selling author.

As we made our way up the singing area, we were excited to see the entire Fifty Shades of Grey Team there, sharing this experience with E.L. James. Producers, Michael DeLuca and Dana Brunetti were there, along with her agent, members of her publishing team and several others. They were all laughing, and taking pictures of her while she signed for fans. They seemed to be enjoying the evening as much as all of us were.

When it was our turn to have our items signed, E.L. James was so kind and friendly, taking the time to graciously thank us for our work at Fifty Shades Film. We were quick to assure her that it was OUR pleasure!

We were honored to have the opportunity to chat and take pictures with the film Producers, Michael DeLuca and Dana Brunetti as well. You can’t imagine our surprise when we saw them come around the corner wearing our Fifty Shades Film buttons!

They were extremely gracious, as they talked about how thankful they were to the fans that continue to support Fifty Shades of Grey in such a huge way. We all laughed when they both, only half joking, stated there is no official casting yet, without us even asking about casting.

We joked, asking if they had been asked about casting once or twice over the last few months. They both nodded in amusement. “We have to have a director before we get a cast,” Michael said, reiterating the answer they both have tweeted over and over.

We were sure to thank them for their efforts to remain interactive, communicating with fans through their personal Twitter accounts. “This would be nothing without the fans,” Dana said as Michael nodded in agreement.

Micheal and Dana thanked us again for the buttons, later in the evening, via Twitter.

We are beyond thankful and honored that they took the time to talk and take pictures with us.

We also had the pleasure to meet Becca Battoe, the voice behind the Fifty Shades of Grey audio books as well. She was so sweet taking the time to chat, sign books and take pictures with all of the fans. She is very sweet. You can follow her on twitter @BeccaBattoe.

This is the lucky fan that we gave our extra wristband too. She was very sad because she had a standby wristband and didn't think she would make it inside to get an autograph from E.L. James.
It was her birthday and she literally cried when we told her we had an extra wristband.
See the phone in her hand? She is telling all her friends to follow @FiftyShadesFilm

Love the awesome pins ladies!

 The ties are too cute!

A huge thank you to E.L. James, Dana Brunetti, Michael DeLuca for being so amazing and giving us such an awesome experience. We'd also like to extend a sincere thanks to all of the fans that posed for pictures and wore our Fifty Shades Film buttons at the event. It was wonderful to meet you all. Please send a picture of you and your friends wearing our buttons and we will share them on Facebook and Twitter.
